Like any proud parents would, Kate Middleton and Prince William tend to take any opportunity to brag about their three children, George, Charlotte, and Louis, so of course, this royal dad had plenty to share about his only daughter during an appearance he made this week. While talking with students in Wales, William shared an update on Princess Charlotte, including her new favorite hobby: performing.
This week, William visited Swiss Valley Community Primary School.
As People reported, while at the school in Llanelli, Wales, William met Ruby Davies, a 10-year-old who learned Welsh as a second language and won the individual reciting competition at the Urdd Eisteddfod festival this year. After her victory, it only seems right that she got to meet the Prince of Wales himself.
It seems that Charlotte and Ruby have a lot in common.
Not only is Charlotte just one year younger than Ruby, but she also loves the spotlight, according to her proud dad.
“Charlotte loves her dancing and performing as well, so I’m going to show her your video when I get home, see where I’ve been today,” he said.
Ruby gave William friendship bracelets to bring home to his kids.
According to William, they’re going to love them – though he also said that it would be for the best if George and Charlotte don’t share them with Louis.
“Thank you so much, they’re going to love these. You’ll see them out and about. I’ll keep them away from Louis because he’ll try and steal all his sister’s kits!” he said.
It makes sense that Charlotte likes to perform.
From what we’ve seen of her, it appears she has a pretty big personality — and she’s never been one to shy away from a camera, either. This must mean that she had an especially good time seeing Taylor Swift at the Eras Tour over the summer with her dad and brother.
Maybe Charlotte will go into acting when she’s older.
Who knows? We could end up seeing her on stage in a few years.
But regardless of whether or not she decides to make her love of performing a career, she’s already a princess — she’ll forever be a star!
