Sydney Sweeney Was Shown An AI-Generated Image Of Herself At A Samsung Conference, And Her Reaction Has Left People Cringing

Sydney Sweeney’s awkward reaction to an AI-generated portrait of herself is currently going viral online.

Earlier this week, Sydney attended Samsung’s Galaxy Unpacked tech conference in Paris, which was streamed live on YouTube.

During the conference, Sydney was called on by one of the hosts. “I think we’ve got the actor Sydney Sweeney in the audience today. Hey Sydney, are you there?” she asked the room.

The camera then panned to the Euphoria star, who said, “Hi, I’m over here,” as the audience clapped and cheered.

After thanking her for attending the conference, the Samsung representative told Sydney, “We’ve used your portrait to generate a 3D image. Should we take a look?”

Sydney nodded, and the AI-generated image — which gave major Disney princess vibes — was displayed on the screen.

The host asked Sydney, “What do you think?” to which she seemingly awkwardly replied, “Aww, I love it.” Watch the moment for yourself here:

She let out a quick giggle before filling the awkward silence by adding, “It’s amazing you can take an image like this.”

Many fans online were left cringing over Sydney’s apparent discomfort.

“That’s an uncomfortable spot to be put on,” one person wrote on X, formerly Twitter, while another said of Sydney’s reaction: “That didn’t seem very genuine lol.”

“the awkward silence…” one tweet read, while other users suggested that Sydney looked “absolutely terrified” and “visibly uncomfortable.”

One more cringed-out user said, “This is so deeply embarrassing.” Someone else echoed, “This is the worst thing I’ve ever watched.”
