Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have returned to the US after their romantic getaway without their two children, Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle reportedly looked tense as the pair arrived back in the US following their secret getaway, according to a body language expert.
The couple are believed to have spent some time together in Canouan, which is a small island part of St Vincent and the Grenadines in the Caribbean.
It is understood that the couple travelled without their two children, Prince Archie, four, and two-year-old Princess Lilibet.
Meghan and Harry landed back in the US on Monday, with them seen stepping off of a private plane in Atlanta, Georgia.
The photos, which were obtained by the Daily Mail, showed Harry walking slightly behind Meghan, who was wearing a black dress.
Analysing the pictures, Ms James said that there appeared to be some “tension” between the couple.
Ms James also stated that Meghan looked “keen” to get back home to their two children.
The expert told the Mirror: “This is a much more practical and even serious-faced look from Harry and Meghan, who have chosen to uncouple from their signature clasped hands togetherness as Meghan walks across the tarmac first, taking care of business by pointing to the waiting cars while Harry saunters up several paces behind her, chatting to a member of their entourage.”
She added: “The idyllic hand-in-hand wandering through empty streets look of their holiday photo is gone and Meghan’s raised armed point, dipped chin and speedy-looking stride suggests some tension as she takes the lead, as though she might be keen to get back to their home.”
Speaking of Harry, the expert said that Prince Harry however seemed to be in “less of a hurry”.
She said: “Harry does seem to have brought a more relaxed holiday vibe back with him, still dressed in his white t-shirt and casual cap, while, despite the lack of a smile, he appears to be in less of a hurry as he brings up the rear and chats.”
The start of Meghan and Harry’s getaway came a few days after their joint appearance in New York City.
In a picture captured by a passer-by, Meghan and Harry looked relaxed as they strolled along the street hand-in-hand.
