Prince Harry to Visit New York City in September

The Duke of Sussex will be in town to support his patronages and philanthropic initiatives.

Prince Harry will be back in New York City soon!

The Duke of Sussex will travel to New York in September. “During UN General Assembly High-level Week and Climate Week in New York City, Prince Harry, The Duke of Sussex, will be in town to advance a number of his patronages and philanthropic initiatives,” a spokesperson for Prince Harry said. “He will participate in engagements with African Parks, The HALO Trust, The Diana Award, and Travalyst. In addition, he will be furthering the work of The Archewell Foundation, the nonprofit organization he co-founded with his wife Meghan, The Duchess of Sussex. More details will be shared as we approach the week of events.”

The UN General Assembly High-level Week takes place from September 21 through 28, and Climate Week takes place from September 22 through 29, but the specific dates Prince Harry will be in the city have yet to be shared. Last year, Prince William was in New York City during Climate Week 2023 for the Earthshot Summit.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were last in New York City in October 2023, for their Archewell Foundation’s first-ever in-person summit. They were also in New York in May 2023 when Meghan was honored at the Ms. Foundation 50th anniversary gala, after which their spokesperson said they were involved in a “near catastrophic car chase” with paparazzi. Harry’s upcoming visit to New York follows his and Meghan’s four-day trip to Colombia, which took place earlier this month.
