Singer Bebe Rexha visiting Macedonia: “After 12 years I returned to Debar, my father’s hometown”

The world famous singer Baby Reggie with ethnic Albanian origin from Macedonia, whose mother is from Gostivar and father from Debar, recently performed at the “Sunny Hill” festival in Kosovo. The singer visited Kosovo for the first time, and then she announced to the Kosovo media that while she is at the festival, she wants to travel to her father’s hometown.

Now, Rexha showed on her Instagram profile that she really came to visit Debar and shared some photos and videos of the moments with her relatives.

The singer enjoyed spending time with her family and paid her respects to her late grandfather at the local cemetery. Next to the photos, she wrote that family means a lot to her, and this visit reminded her of the importance of relationships with relatives.

“After 12 years, I returned to my father’s hometown, in Debar, Macedonia. Reconnecting with my roots and family was deeply emotional. Visiting my grandfather’s grave was especially meaningful, as I was unable to attend his funeral in time while I was on tour. “Family means everything to me, and this visit reminded me of the importance of our relationships,” she wrote.
