I found lookalikes from $30.
When I was younger, the words “don’t be an outfit repeater” would echo throughout my head when picking out what to wear. Now that I’ve hit my mid-20s, I’ve realized that sticking to wardrobe staples and re-wearing them is one of the chicest things you can do—and today’s style icons seem to agree. Take Meghan Markle for example; not only has she mastered effortless everyday fashion, but she stays loyal to tried-and-true pieces, from her white jeans to T-strap sandals.
Recently, the duchess broke out another go-to item: her leather Chanel slingback flats. Not only are the shoes reminiscent of the Chanel slingback heels Princess Diana wore while on a visit to Northwestern in the late ‘90s (coincidentally Markle’s alma mater), but they happen to be the perfect shoe for transitioning into fall.
Markle has been wearing this cap toe style on repeat; she was spotted wearing a similar version in June and in August of last year. This time, she styled them with cropped black pants, a white button-down shirt, and a brown blazer—an outfit formula I will certainly be recreating this fall. While Markle’s designer flats are currently out of my budget, I scoured the internet for lookalike options. To my delight, I found eight nearly identical flats, starting at $30.
