King Charles Has Reportedly Been Advised To Ignore Prince Harry’s Calls

It doesn’t look like Prince Harry‘s estrangement from dad King Charles is going to come to an end anytime soon after this update. According to one royal expert, Charles has reportedly been advised to ignore Harry’s calls as he battles cancer — likely so he’ll keep his stress levels down. But is it really worth it?

King Charles is battling an unknown type of cancer.

After Charles revealed his diagnosis earlier this year, Prince Harry hurried to London to see his father right away. Reportedly, the visit was less than an hour, and by the next day,  Harry was already on a flight home to the United States.

But if this new intel is to be believed, we may not see them together again for quite some time.

Charles is apparently being told to avoid Harry for the time being.

According to what royal expert Robert Hardman told Fox News this week, Charles is likely being told not to engage with Harry while he’s still undergoing treatment for cancer in an effort to keep his “stress levels down.” This would mean ignoring his messages — at least for now.

Now may not be the right time for Charles to talk to his son.

They have been on pretty tense terms over the last few years, and if that’s going to hurt Charles’ healing process, it makes sense that he might want to delay any heavy conversations.

“I know people keep saying, ‘Why doesn’t he see Harry when he is in town? Why can’t they patch things up?’” Robert told the news outlet. “But right now, there is a sense that we’ve just got to keep the king’s stress levels down. We don’t want him to have extra things to worry about. Let’s get through this… There is a sense that now is probably not the time.”

Harry is still ‘unpacking’ his royal upbringing.

“If you listen to what Harry has said in his TV series, in his book, in interviews — there’s a lot to unpack,” Robert said. “There are a lot of things he wants to get sorted out to go through to process … Right now, there’s a sense that it’s not the time. But I’m sure the king would like to normalize things.”

Harry and Charles likely have a lot to talk about, but those discussions might have to be tabled for a later date.

Hopefully, there will be time later to sort things through.

Robert added that Charles would “love” seeing more of grandchildren Archie and Lilibet, so maybe once his health is under control, he and Harry can have the talks they need in order to put their relationship back together, and they can work toward spending more time together as a family. Fingers crossed Charles shares a positive update on his cancer journey soon.
